Day 2 - Arrival - Cairo
Arrival at the Land of the Pharaohs. Upon completion of immigration & customs formalities at Cairo International Airport, you will be met at the exit by our representative and escorted to your hotel.
Day 3 - Cairo – Aswan – Kom Ombo (Optional Abu Simbel tour)
Morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival you will be escorted to your cruise ship where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days. Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside junior suite cabin with private facilities. You will visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. View Kitchner's Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca (Entrance is not PERMITTED). Sail to Kom Ombo and overnight. Meals Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner.
Day 4 - Kom Ombo - Edfu - Esna - Luxor
Visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Then sail to Edfu. Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, (237 B.C.) considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through the Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor and overnight. Meals Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner.
Day 5 - Luxor (Optional sound & light show at Karnak)
Visit the West Bank necropolis including the Valley of the Kings, the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon visit to Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. Overnight in Luxor. Afternoon visit to Karnak & Luxor Temples. Evening optional Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple Meals Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner.
Day 6 - Luxor, Cairo, Amman
After breakfast, disembarkation and transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Amman, via Cairo. Meet and assist at Queen Alia International Airport with all airport procedures and formalities via Customs & Emigration, drive to Amman Hotel for Overnight. Meals Breakfast.
Day 7 - Amman, Jerash, Ajloun, Petra
A day visit of Jerash & Ajloun and proceed in the afternoon to Petra Hotel for Overnight . Meals Breakfast.
Day 8 - Petra, Jerusalem
After breakfast, a day visit of Petra, then cross to Israel. Drive to Jerusalem for overnight. Cross to Israel, finishing the drive in Jerusalem for overnight. Meals Breakfast.
Day 9 - Jerusalem, Bethlehem (sound & light show at the Tower of David – Museum of the history of Jerusalem)
Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall, the Kotel, and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to Bethlehem for an overview of Shepherds' field; Visit the Church of Nativity and Manger's square. Transfer by private car to the Sound & light show at the Tower of David – museum of the history of Jerusalem. 5:00pm return to hotel in Jerusalem * Passports must be taken with on tours to Bethlehem. * Modest attire is required for visiting holy places of any religion (Men with head covering, women with shoulder covering; for both men and women - no shorts). * Comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Day 10 - Massada - Dead Sea
08:50-09:50am Morning drive via the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea. 09:50-10:30 am visiting Ahava Cosmetic factory. 11:00am-1:30pm visiting Massada, Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car. Continue to the Dead Sea. 1:50-5:00pm enjoy the unique opportunity to swim and float on the Dead Sea that many believe has therapeutic effects. On the way back, view the Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. 6:00pm return to hotel in Jerusalem * Head covering, sun protection lotion, bathing suit and towel are recommended. * Comfortable walking shoes are suggested. * From the arrival of the cable car at Masada to the archaeological site there are 80 steps to climb. Meals: Breakfast - Dinner.
Day 11 - Nazareth - Capernaum/Tiberias
06:00Am-08:30am Enjoy a lovely day watching the outstanding landscape of the lower Galilee. Depart Jerusalem on the Coastal Road and the landscape of the Lower Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. 10:30-12:30pm Drive along the Lake Kinnereth to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, located at the foot of the Golan Heights. 1:00-2:30pm Time for lunch on their own. 2:30-4:00pm Continue to Yardenit, the famous Baptismal site, where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee. 4:00pm-6:30pm towards the Jerusalem & the Dead Sea, before returning to point of departure. * Modest attire is required for visiting holy places of any religion (Men with head covering, women with shoulder covering; for both men &women no shorts). * Comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Day 12 - Jerusalem, Cairo
Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will be met by our representative after immigrations & customs. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo & overnight. Meals Breakfast.
Day 13 - Cairo full day tour
Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world's largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen's tomb. Then drive to Old Cairo to visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Stop for lunch, afternoon visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world's largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar, overnight in Cairo. Meals Breakfast - Lunch.
Day 14 - Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight Meals Breakfast All timings are subject to change and will be relayed to the guests accordingly at the time of arrival.
