Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Athens, Greece

Welcome to Greece!
Our driver and assistant will welcome you at Athens airport and will transfer you to your hotel. Check in and free time to relax.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Athens.

Day 2Athens

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Athens.
Today, you will meet your guide and start your Athens city tour, passing by the most famous sites in the center of the city.
Short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. After, the tour will take you to the
Acropolis – an UNESCO World Heritage – , the Parthenon and Mars Hill where Paul stood and preached. Continue with a pleasant
short walk passing by (not visiting) Herodion and Dionysus Theatre, in order to visit the Acropolis Museum. Main attractions such
as votines, artefacts of everyday life, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon Hall with the metopes,
the pediments and the frieze will impress you.
Return back to hotel for Dinner & Overnight.

Day 3Athens

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Athens.
With your driver and guide, we will proceed to the city of Corinth. Our first stop will be at the Corinth canal to enjoy
the magnificent view and take photos. Then we will travel to the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth, where St. Paul wrote his most familiar letters and visit the Archaeological Museum, the Bema, the Marketplace and the Temples.
Return back to hotel for Dinner & Overnight.

Day 4Athens-Delphi

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Athens.
With your driver and guide, we will proceed to Delphi in order to explore one of the most famous UNESCO’s worlds
heritage sites. Famous of its theatre, Temple of Apollo and ancient ruins, Delphi was considered the center of the earth
and the universe and played a central role in the classical Greek world. Pass by Castalia Spring, visit at the
archaeological site of Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle, Athenian Treasure and the Museum of Delphi with its spectacular finds, including the unique bronze Charioteer the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos.
Dinner and overnight your hotel in Delphi.

Day 5Delphi-Kalambaka

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Delphi.
With your driver and guide, we will proceed to Kalambaka. Upon arrival visit of one or more of Meteora Monasteries (just one in case time does not permit to do the second visit).

Day 6Kalambaka-Thessaloniki

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Kalambaka.
Departure for Thessaloniki, the co-capital of Greece. On the way, we will visit Berea with the famous mosaics and the Bema of St. Paul. We will continue to Thessaloniki and, before checking in, we will make a bus tour of the city of Thessaloniki, including St. Demetrius Basilica and St. Sofia church.
Check in to our hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7Thessaloniki

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Thessaloniki.
Departure for Lydia Springs, Philippi, and the beautiful city of Kavala. St Paul landed here with his disciples Timothy
and Sillas. See the small church that marks the traditional site of landing. Lucas the Evangelist also came to the city
from Troas. Kavala once names Christoupolis because it was the first city in Europe to accept Christianity.
We will continue to Philippi where St. Paul preached his first evangelical sermon and where early Christians were
baptized on European soil. We will visit the baptismal site where Lydia converted to Christianity. Our tour will
continue with a visit to a crypt from the Roman period (that is believed to have served as a prison for St. Paul),
the Marketplace, the famous Acropolis and the Theatre. Then, we drive back to Thessaloniki.

Day 8Thessaloniki -Athens Coast

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Thessaloniki.
At the indicated time, pick up for your transfer to Thessaloniki Airport for your flight back to Athens (morning flight).
Upon arrival, we will meet with our driver and assistant and transfer to a resort in Athens Coast for check in. Rest of
the day at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at hotel in Athens Coast.

Day 10 Departure Athens
