  • Best Time to Go / Weather: Spring (April–May) and Autumn (September–October) are generally the most pleasant: mild weather, fewer crowds.
  • Summer (June–August) is hot, especially along the coast, but great for beaches and coastal activities.
  • Winter (December–February) is colder, especially in the mountains (snow possible), and wetter. Good for skiing or a different kind of scenery.
  • What to Pack & Other Tips: Dress modestly when visiting religious or historical sites: cover shoulders, knees. Bring layers for mornings/evenings especially in mountain areas.
  • Comfortable walking shoes: many sites involve uneven terrain, steps, etc.
  • Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, especially for summer.
  • Power/Electricity: There are frequent power outages in parts of Lebanon; hotels often have generators but it’s good to be prepared. (Bring portable battery pack.)
  • Language: Arabic is official, but English and French are widely spoken, especially in tourist areas. Knowing some basic Arabic greetings helps.
  • Safety & Health: Stay updated on the latest travel advisories for Lebanon from your government. Political or social unrest can occur. Avoid large protests or gatherings.
